Seductive and convincing white Burgundy from talented winemaker David Butterfield. I have worked with his wines for 10 years in Amsterdam, where this wine is on the best winelists. The white wines ferment and mature in wooden barrels, but only a small part of these are new. No overpowering aromas from the wood to mask the wine here. They have beautiful freshness, purity and minerality.
